Esther Siegel & Spencer Brewer
As a wife and husband team we occasionally take time off from our separate projects to collaborate to create a piece together. It often starts with one of us having an object we are drawn to, and then we are off and running, searching through our flurry of objects to see how they belong or don’t belong together.
With two people focused on one piece, it can often come together rather quickly. Walking away and taking a break to later evaluate seems to be part of our process. When it clicks for both of us, we giggle out loud.
The activity of creating together brings an uptick of fun and adventure into our relationship.
